The designs of systems SANSET are focused in satisfying the demands of the structural loads, resistance to the natural agents as the elements especially ultraviolet rays, the fire, the wind, and it completes the strictest national and international norms of quality.

The rubber membrane E.P.D.M. is the most used material in the world for the single-coating applications in roofings, reservoirs, and waterproofings. The E.P.D.M. has been proven with success in a wide range of climatic conditions, from the hottest sun of Arizona, and Middles East until the most dramatic conditions in cold in Alaska or the North of Europe. The results have always been satisfactory.

SureSeal® membrane of E.P.D.M for water irrigation reservoirs.

In all the continents and climates, the storage and conservation of water is of vital importance. The membrane of E.P.D.M. SureSeal® plays a decisive paper in the protection of the most valuable natural resource for the man, thanks to its flexibility to low temperatures and installation simplicity and overlapping in works. The membrane of E.P.D.M Sure Seal® of thickness .45" for reservoirs is delivered in the work place in stretches of up to 1000m2 prepared in the factory, which allows easy and quick installations with a minimum of weldings. It has been classified as SUITABLE for their installation in works of drinkable water to fulfill the effective normatives in Europe.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The E.P.D.M. is an elastomer that has great resistance to the traction and the shear, as well as very resistant to the lengthening and to the rupture. - When not having elongation increments this material doesn't suffer stress to the elements. It resists high and low temperatures between -45º C and 130º C. For example some of our installations in hydraulic works of high mountain, with extreme temperatures from -20º C in winter to the 75º C in summer sunny days, conserving in all moment its exceptional chemical and mechanical characteristics. Unalterable under the ultraviolet effect of rays and to the ozone. Great resistance to the abrasion and the erosion, allowing this characteristic its installation in passage places. CARACTERÍSTICAS TÉCNICAS

CERTIFICATIONS AND OFFICIAL RECOGNITION E.P.D.M. membranes and SANSET systems fulfill the national and international norms as for physical properties, resistance to the junction points, behavior in relation to fire, resistance to the winds and correct environmental characteristics. It is necessary to highlight that most of the installations with waterproofing systems SANSET overcomes more than 35 years without problems in the service to which they were dedicated. In the event of the necessity of a repair it is as easy as to repair a bicycle puncture. The certifications that SANSET gathers are the presentation card of the products and of the company in itself. SANSET guarantees the offered service and the quality of its materials, exposed or not to the elements, whenever they adjust to the established technical criteria for a time superior minimum to 20 (twenty) years. The placement of big sheet modules with surface of up to 1000m2 original factory fitted components, and the speed of union among them, once installed on the flattened or concrete floor, makes a highly reduced installation cost.

E.P.D.M. EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS

The lingering exhibition to the ultraviolet rays and the ozone has little or any effect in the properties of the E.P.D.M. Even after 20 years of exhibition they register very small in the elongation (still bigger than 250%) neither in the resistance to the traction. It doesn't turn into cracking with the passing of time.
RESISTANCE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES.

Those E.P.D.M. roofings exposed in the sun of the tropics frequently reach temperatures of around 75º C. In the other climatological end, and in installations to the elements, we find temperatures on the roofing of -30º C. Even in lingering exhibitions to these extreme situations E.P.D.M. membranes of SANSET don't suffer variations in their characteristics or performance.

WATERPROOFING

The E.P.D.M that SANSET installs is placed loose on the floor or horizontal underground, but in the vertical areas it is preferable its anchorage. The waterproofing is this way total and permanent.Besides, the elasticity of the membrane assures the protection against structural movements.
